Services
In many ways the answer is 'yes' now what's the question?
If you could use an extra pair of hands, eyes or senior-level communications input without the need to take on new employees, I could be the solution you’re looking for.
If you have peaks and troughs in workload, a new client that needs bedding in with some over-servicing, a re-evaluation of existing client activity to overcome a ‘blockage’ in the relationship, or just need a bloody good PR/Communications partner to help out at times - someone who doesn’t need their hand held and who has experience of handling big, difficult, demanding or just ‘needy’ clients around the world...
I can turn my hand to any market sector, public, private or third sector, financial and business/professional services to industry, retail, place-making, regeneration, local engagement, internal communications, energy (green & traditional) and infrastructure, learning and skills, health and fitness, mining and quarrying, construction plant and equipment, shipping and logistics, luxury yachts, travel & tourism to arts & heritage.
What I’m looking for is some work: I’m not looking to establish a full-blown communications agency and am not interested in ‘stealing’ your clients, just in doing what I’m good at - servicing clients developing their business successfully at the same time as helping you to grow your business, – without my having the administrative hassles that go along with running a business and employing other people. Been there, done that, enjoyed it but don’t need the hassle any more!
So perhaps you need some high-level support; a key press relations project, product launch, event or speech, press trip, crisis management, copywriting for a business plan, annual report or such-like, the creation of a strategic plan or vision for a client company; the resolution of an ‘issue’ that might be threatening the relationship (I can be objective/independent whilst also being on your side), a major one-off project that doesn’t justify taking on permanent staff? If so, please get in touch.
I’m not offering to churn-out press releases on the cheap or to attend scheduled account-handling client meetings (not that this would be a problem just not always best use of my time on your behalf), but instead to provide help at the higher end of running a successful PR client account. I’m happy to be an unseen back office or liaise directly with clients as a representative of your organisation. And in addition to being a specialist PR practitioner, I also have strong 'through-the-line communications expertise from both the agency and client-side perspective should you be looking to broaden the account and indeed your own business offer in that direction.
